AI Use Policy
Root 2 Rise Wellness LLC uses artificial intelligence tools to support — not replace — professional judgment. This policy explains how and why.
How I Use AI
-
• OpenEvidence, a clinical decision-support tool built on peer-reviewed medical literature, to support wording and evidence-sourcing in speech-language pathology reports and documentation.
-
• Claude and ChatGPT, general-purpose AI assistants, for idea generation, and for organizing and drafting content into handouts, wellness plan materials, and blog/newsletter content — all reviewed and finalized by me before use.
-
• General AI-assisted research for gathering nutrition, herbal, and health information as a starting point, which I then verify against established sources.
What I Do Not Do
-
• I never enter client names or identifying information into any AI tool.
-
• I do not use AI to make final clinical, diagnostic, or treatment decisions. Any AI-assisted content — including insights related to client care — is reviewed, verified, and approved by me before it is used or shared.
-
• I do not rely on AI output as a substitute for professional literature, clinical guidelines, or my own training.
Confidentiality
Client information is handled according to HIPAA / NC Standards. AI tools are used only with de-identified, general information — never specific enough to identify a client, even indirectly.
